Thursday Morning Bible Study

About

Thursday Morning Bible Study (sometimes abbreviated TMBS) is one of our congregation’s longest running adult education programs. From the Pentateuch to Revelation, we’re interested in exploring the text critically through informed, contemporary scholarship. With the insights of biblical scholars, religious leaders, theologians, and even poets, we seek the Word of God behind, within, and above the world of the text. Join us in the Library or on Zoom at 10:30 a.m. for this meaningful time.

Toward a Theology of Death

This special series explores the Bible’s understanding of death. Each week, we’ll study a different passage of scripture and related theological themes, supported by additional articles and reflection pieces to inform our discussions.
