Earth Day usually arrives and goes as just another day. This year, the Creation Care Team challenges you to take some time to prepare beforehand. On Saturday April 6, you can join us in the woodlands for a “work day”, get your hands into the earth and be outside. All levels of activity are welcome – dig weeds, haul mulch or sit on bench and be present. In addition, look for the upcoming “22 Days to a More Meaningful Earth Day” calendar outside the sanctuary or online to reflect on how you are affecting the Earth and more importantly, things you can actually do to help heal the Earth. Join us in becoming more aware of the impact we can make, the help we can offer, and the benefit we get being a part of Earth so Earth Day is not just another regular day.
