We’re distributing our fish banks – our Lenten way of sharing our gifts through three Presbyterian agencies: Disaster Assistance, Hunger Relief, and SelfDevelopment of People. Each week we’re offering a way to think about how we live, what we have, and how we can share more generously. Week Four: Over 1 billion people do not have access to safe water. Give one unit for every glass of water you drank today. Discussion questions: How does safe drinking water get to your home? Why is it important to have safe drinking water? Research the water situation in Flint, Michigan. Has it been remedied? Does further action need to be taken? If so, what? How can crises like these be prevented? Fish banks are available in the back of the sanctuary and on the Christian Education table in the education wing.
