Dissolution of Trustees Q&A

As we shared in the Messenger, the January Session docket would include a recommendation from the Trustees to dissolve the board as a separate, elected body and absorb the oversight and responsibilities of the board into a new committee of the Session.
At its meeting on January 19, Session approved this recommendation. This change now requires the approval of the congregation, as well as a change in our Bylaws. And so, both of these items will be on the docket at the Annual Meeting this Sunday, January 30, 2022, immediately following worship (via Zoom).

On Thursday, January 27, at 7:00 p.m., we will host an opportunity for you to hear the rationale for this change, raise questions, and share thoughts in advance of the Annual Meeting. Questions or comments will also be in order during the Annual Meeting.
