Maundy Thursday is a corruption of the Latin mandatum novum, meaning “new mandate,” referring to Christ’s new commandment that “you love one another” (John 13:34). This service offers an opportunity to partake of the Lord’s Supper at an hour when the associations are most filled with meaning: the night before Jesus’ crucifixion. This service is held at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary and online.
