Adult Education: Those Mysterious Mystics

In September, we offered an introduction to Christian mysticism that was very popular. This Sunday, we’ll continue our exploration of the Christian mystical tradition (Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant). We’ll focus on the insights of Meister Eckhart (1260-1320), Teresa of Ávila (1515 –1582), Thomas Merton (1915-1968), Howard Thurman (1899-1981), and more contemporary Christian mystics. We’ll provide resources and suggest ways to help you nourish life in the Spirit. Led by Ken Kovacs
Adult education is a time of learning and lively discussion, led by our pastoral staff, guest speakers, and members of the congregation. Join us as we explore a range of diverse topics and issues of the day from a theological perspective. Child care is provided.
