About Backpacks for Success

There are many students in our community who lack equitable access to suitable school supplies. Tools like backpacks, pens, pencils, markers, crayons, and rulers are instrumental in preparing children for success. We’re calling on our members, friends, and Catonsville neighbors to support our local students through financial contributions and the purchase of new school supplies. By partnering with Grace A.M.E., all backpacks, school supplies, and financial contributions will be distributed to local schools.

The cost of a single, packed backpack is around $40, and the list of necessary supplies is listed below. You can support this project in three different ways:

• Financially contribute with the button below
• Bring supplies to the Fellowship Hall anytime through Sunday, August 20
• Bring supplies to the food collection off Frederick Road anytime from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11.
