On November 17, we welcome to the pulpit, Brian Edwards, a counselor and Executive Director of Suburban Crossroads Counseling, based in Ellicott City. Before becoming a mental health counselor, Brian served on the staff of both Disciples of Christ and Cooperative Baptist Fellowship congregations. He earned his Bachelor of Behavior Science in Applied Theology from Hardin-Simmons University, a Master of Divinity from Logsdon Seminary, and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Towson University. Brian is also a freelance writer and speaker. Brian and his wife, Lauren, who is a professor at UMBC, live in Catonsville.

Our worship services are intended for all people. The church gathers in the sanctuary, with fellowship and refreshments immediately following the service. Communion is served the first Sunday of the month. Please feel free to sit anywhere you like and we will greet you and welcome you like an old friend. Welcome Home!

We worship as the entire family of God as an intergenerational congregation.  Children are encouraged to worship with their parents as part of the congregation.  Specialized bulletins are available to guide them through the service and “worship packets” help keep them engaged.  For the very young, childcare is available during the service.  Audio of the service is available in the Fellowship Hall just outside the Sanctuary, where you can conveniently listen if your child needs to go out of the main worship space.

There is an accessible entrance from the Frederick Road small parking lot. Inside, larger pew spaces are available in the front to accommodate wheelchairs or walkers. Accessible restrooms are available as well. Large print bulletins and hearing assistance earphones are provided in the rear of the sanctuary.
