Join Strength to Love II for their Farmer’s Market! The hope is this market will serve as a cultural hub for west Baltimore residents and vendors to find locally grown, affordable produce and discover local artisans, all while enjoying a variety of entertainment and food. Strength to Love II, which operates an urban farm, was selected as a Catonsville Presbyterian Church Spring 2022 Envision Awards recipient.

The Strength to Love II Farmer’s Market will be at the farm located at 1855 Kavanaugh Street, Baltimore, MD 21217 and will occur every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month starting June 3rd. Strength to Love II operates an urban farm with multiple greenhouses on 2 acres of reclaimed vacant lots, employing ex-offenders while providing much-needed fresh food to the community. They are launching a youth program which will educate and train dozens of youth in urban agriculture as well as entrepreneurship and community development. Our award will be used for the construction of a hydroponic greenhouse and purchase of additional supplies necessary for the program.
