This World Communion Sunday, October 4, 2020, we will have three special guest preachers from among our mission partners, literally bringing the world into our worship through their reflections:
- Jennifer Bentzel from IMA World Health/LWR, an ecumenical partner providing humanitarian relief and development internationally.
- Dr. Serge Makolo, IMCK Good Shepherd Hospital and Presbyterian Elder in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
- Wilmari Vargas, El Guacio Camp in Puerto Rico, a PCUSA camp that hosts disaster recovery volunteers (including CPC volunteers in 2019).
Even as we feel scattered and apart, on this World Communion Sunday we will celebrate the ties that bind us together in One Spirit and One Faith.
With in-person worship suspended, we’ve moved to online worship. Join us for music, a message, and a time for prayer. The worship service video is posted at 10:30am.
