Maundy Thursday Service

Jesus said, “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another” (Jn. 13:34).
On Maundy Thursday — from the Latin, mandatum, meaning “mandate”—we reflect upon Jesus’s final words for his disciples. We will gather for the Lord’s Supper (in the sanctuary) and continue with a service of Tenebrae (darkness) as we listen to the Passion of our Lord according to John’s Gospel.
