Afternoon Tea, Remembering Dot Kielman

  • Date: Sunday, November 6, 2022
  • Time: 4:00pm–5:00pm
  • Location: Fellowship Hall

Dear Friends:

We share the sad news that Dorothy “Dot” Kielman died on September 12. She was 100 (and a half) years old.

Dot and her husband Lee (d. 2004) joined Catonsville Presbyterian Church in 1969 and raised their six children here. Dot was involved in many service ministries and was particularly known for her incredible skills in the kitchen, preparing meals for church gatherings and for the Light Street Soup Kitchen. Dot served several times as a Deacon and was a very active member of Presbyterian Women.

Dot was always a delight — smiling, laughing, a truly humble, gracious and generous soul. Caroling at her home at Christmastime was always the last stop, bringing joy to Dot, to her family & caregivers, to the CPC carolers — the Spirit of God filled the room.

Dot will be buried in Arlington Cemetery.

We give thanks to God for such a good and faithful servant.

Please remember Dot’s family in your prayers.

Rest eternal grant unto her, O Lord.

And let light perpetual shine upon her. Amen.
